DALLAS SPE SECTION GOLF TOURNAMENT

 

 

The Dallas Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers will be hosting its Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 13, 2005 at the Firewheel Golf Course in Garland, Texas.  The tournament format will be a four-player scramble, and will commence at 1:00 p.m. with a shotgun start on both the Old and Lakes 18-hole courses at Firewheel.  Players will be able to purchase Mulligans, up to 2 Mulligans per player, 8 Mulligans maximum per team.  The Mulligan pot will divided up into cash awards and distributed during the awards ceremony.  The number of golfers will be limited to 288 on a first-come, first-served basis.  YOU MUST SEND IN YOUR CHECK ALONG WITH YOUR ENTRY FORM BY MAY 13, 2005.   A completed entry form only will not be logged in as received until the check is received.

 

Lunch will be available prior to the tournament and dinner will be served after the tournament.  All food is sponsored.  Beverages will be provided throughout the tournament.  Golf shirts will be distributed for the tournament gift this year, so please include shirt sizes for your team members on the entry form.

 

The tournament needs financial sponsors to make it a success.  Sponsorships of $700 (Diamond), $500 (Platinum), $300 (Gold) and $100 (Silver) are solicited.  Contributions for ditty bags, hole and door prizes are also solicited.  All sponsors will be recognized on the sponsor board, in the tournament program and during the awards presentation.  Your support of the tournament is greatly appreciated.  We urge the timely submittal of your completed entry form along with your entry fee and any sponsorship you may wish to donate.  We look forward to your participation in helping make the 2005 SPE Golf Tournament a great success.

 

NOTE: 

PLEASE ADVISE YOUR TEAM THAT FIREWHEEL REQUIRES SPIKELESS SHOES AS OF JANUARY 1, 1998.
