Advertising Rates - 2008
The website sponsored by the Dallas Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers is maintained to provide timely information and links to section activities and other areas of interest for the 1500 plus local section members as well as the 73,000 members worldwide. It is available 24 hours a day and can be accessed directly at www.spedallas.org or through the SPE International Homepage at www.spe.org. The site is maintained by member volunteers and offers the following forms of electronic advertising.
Banners Ads - Our web site currently has seven pages on which banner ads can be placed. Banner ads include a link to the advertisers web site. Current examples can be viewed on our, Section news, and Industry Related pages. Ads should be provided to our web master (Danny Bell w/ Exco Resources, 214-706-3322, email dbell@excoresources.com) in a GIF file or JPG file. The ad may be revised at your discretion by providing the change to our web master. Subscription price is $1,000.00 per year.
Button Ads – Provide a link to advertisers web site. To view examples of the current list of links click on our Advertisers page. A logo can be included with the web site address. Info should be provided to our web master. Subscription price is $250.00 per year.
Professional Recruiter Ads – Employment opportunities can be listed on the section Employment page under New JobPostings. Includes a link to recruiter web site. Postings can be revised at your discretion by providing the change to our web master (Danny Bell w/ Exco Resources, 214-706-3322, email dbell@excoresources.com) in a GIF file or JPG file. Subscription price is $1,000.00 per year (= $83.33 /mo. = $2.74/ day). Minimum period is one (1) year. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and no later than 30 days from beginning of subscription period.
Other Ads – Special case ads related to commercially taught industry courses and other subjects are considered on an individual basis. Typically, the section can provide an email announcement to its membership (coupled with normal monthly meeting announcements) which would contain a brief reference to the date(s) and course subject along with a link to the subscriber’s ad on the appropriate Dallas Section web page. Subscription prices for these ads are on a case-by-case basis.
Banner, Button and Professional Recruiter ad subscriptions are sold on an annual basis beginning January 1st and ending December 31st of each year. Subscriptions beginning after the start of a subscription period will be prorated accordingly for the remainder of the subscription period. Subsequent renewals will be based on the annual rate in effect at the time of renewal.
