Danny Bell:
Danny is the Exploitation Engineering Manager for Exco Resources Inc. A Petroleum
Engineering Graduate from the University of Oklahoma and a Registered
Professional Engineer. He has held section offices of Director,
Section Chairman, Program Chairman and Treasurer in several sections
(Michigan, Abilene, OKC and Dallas). Bell has also
served on the EH&S, Membership and Paper Review committees at the
National level and served on numerous section committees. He is the
current Chairman, Technology Transfer Officer and Webmaster for the Dallas

Diane K. Brownlee , P.G., Director,
Ellison Miles Geotechnology Institute, Brookhaven College. Diane
graduated from Colorado
School of Mines with a B.S.in geophysics, and is a registered P.G. She
has worked in earthquake seismology, mining and then oil and gas for 18
years before becoming Curator of Earth Science at the Heard Museum,
where she became involved in educational and community outreach. In
2001 she became Director of the EMGI. and is currently serving as the "Community Relations" Director for the
SPE Dallas Section.

Brian Chacka is the business development
director for formation evaluation and wireline services for Weatherford
International covering the Dallas area. He is a 1999 chemical
engineering graduate from the University of Minnesota and has worked in
the upstream petroleum industry in the service sector since 1999 in
locations ranging from Prudhoe Bay to Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. He has
been actively involved with SPE since 2006 and is the 2007-8 Dallas
Section Sporting/Social Chair as well as the Young Professionals Chair.

Steve Grape: Steve Grape
is a petroleum engineer with the Energy Information Administration (part
of the U. S. Department of Energy) headquartered in downtown Dallas. He
works on the Engineering and Data Quality Assurance teams for the U. S.
Domestic Reserves Program, and holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Petroleum
Engineering from Texas A&M University('90, '87). Steve is currently the
SPE Dallas Section Newsletter Editor, part of the Technology Transfer
committee, and the membership chairman of the Dallas Petroleum Engineer's
Club. Steve has been an SPE member since 1983. He authored and presented
the SPE Symposium "Wildcatting the Internet" for the Dallas Section, and
directly participated in EIA's evaluation of the new SPE/WPC Reserves
Definitions, approved this year..

David
E. Lancaster:
David
Lancaster is Executive
Vice President with Matador Resources Company in Dallas.
He joined Matador in December 2003. David spent most of his career with
S. A. Holditch & Associates and was one of the principals in that
well-known petroleum engineering consulting firm. Following the sale of
Holditch to Schlumberger in 1997, David worked for six years with
Schlumberger in several assignments, including Business Manager for
consulting services in North and South America and worldwide Marketing
Manager for Data & Consulting Services. David has been active in SPE
activities both locally and at the national level throughout his career
and is currently serving as the Treasurer
for the Dallas section. David received Bachelor and Master of Science
degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1979 and
1988, respectively, and he is a registered Professional Engineer in
Texas.

S. Hamilton:
Employed as an Exploitation Engineer by Nexen Petroleum since year 2000.
Previous employers were Cox Resources Corp., Santa Fe Minerals and Global
Marine Drilling Co. Graduated from Texas A&M University in 1983 with B. S.
degree in Petroleum Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer in
Texas, Louisiana and California. Member of SPE since 1979.

Phin
Holmes: Phin joined
Baker Petrolite in 1980 and is currently a National Account Executive for
the Western Hemisphere. Prior to moving to Dallas, Phin has worked in the
Gulf Coast Region, Houston, College Station and in the Permian Basin. Phin
holds a degree from Texas Tech University and has worked on his masters at
both Texas Tech and Sol Ross Universities. Currently Phin has served as the
"Community Relations" Director for the Dallas Section working with the SPE
Educational Committee, Community Service Committee, and Dallas Youth
Services Corp (DYSC). Through DYSC, the SPE Community Service Committee
has committed to work with "At Risk" students to get them interested in
the oil and gas industry. Phin currently is the keeper of the "Magic

Gary Patterson: Gary Patterson:
Gary Patterson is an Operations Engineer at Denbury Resources, Inc. Prior
positions were held with various Dallas independents including Chief Oil &
Gas, Wiser Oil and Deminex. Gary graduated from Texas A&M University in
1984 with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. He is a registered professional
engineer in the State of Texas. He has volunteered on the SPE Casino Night
Committee for many years. Gary is also a member of the American
Association of Drilling Engineers and the Petroleum Engineers Club of
Dallas.

Peggy
Tibbetts: Peggy Tibbetts is a
Partner and Manager of Technical Services with LaRoche Petroleum
Consultants, Ltd. and has worked for consulting companies and
independent producers for 30 years in engineering, accounting, and
reserves management. Peggy is Past Chairman
of the section and General Chairman for the 2005 HEES. Peggy is a past
President of the Desk & Derrick Club of Dallas and has received the
international organization's highest Award of Excellence. Peggy is also
a representative for the North Texas Energy Council.

Herb
Bell: Herb Bell is a Production Manager at Aethon ILP in Dallas. Prior
to this, he was a petroleum consultant and Manager of Engineering & Exploitation with
Edisto Resources Corporation. He received a BSME degree from
UTEP and is a registered professional engineer in Texas. Active in
SPE since 1966, he held all local section offices as a member of
West Central Texas Section and was instrumental in founding their
scholarship program. He has also served on various society level
committees, most recently as Chairman of the Membership Committee. He is
currently serving the Dallas Section as Advertising Manager for the
website. He has been a member of the Century Club since1984 and
recruited over 2600 members for the Society.

Brian
Walter: A Petroleum Engineering Graduate from Texas A&M University and
a MBA Graduate from the University of Dallas. He is involved with numerous
organization and societies including Dallas SPE, SPEE, SIPES, TIPRO, IPAA,
Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, ADAMS, AAPG, SEG, and is a registered
engineer in Texas. Brian is president of Walter Exploration Company and is
an avid hunter.
