Danny Bell:
Danny is the Operations Engineering Manager for Exco Resources Inc. A Petroleum
Engineering Graduate from the University of Oklahoma and a Registered
Professional Engineer. He has held section offices of Director,
Section Chairman, Program Chairman and Treasurer in several sections
(Michigan, Abilene, OKC and Dallas). Bell has also
served on the EH&S, Membership and Paper Review committees at the
National/International level and served on numerous section committees. He is
currently the Technology Transfer Officer, Webmaster and a Past Chairman
(2007-2008) for the Dallas
section and serves on the SPEI National Membership Committee. Recipient
of the 2009 SPEI Distinguished Service Award Top of Page
Herb
Bell: Herb Bell is a Production Manager at Aethon ILP in Dallas. Prior
to this, he was a petroleum consultant and Manager of Engineering & Exploitation with
Edisto Resources Corporation. He received a BSME degree from
UTEP and is a registered professional engineer in Texas. Active in
SPE since 1966, he held all local section offices as a member of
West Central Texas Section and was instrumental in founding their
scholarship program. He has also served on various society level
committees, most recently as Chairman of the Membership Committee. He is
currently serving the Dallas Section as Advertising Manager for the
website. He has been a member of the Century Club since1984 and
recruited over 2600 members for the Society.

Larry Champlin: Vice President in
the North America Division with DeGolyer and MacNaughton specializes in
reservoir engineering and appraisal of oil and gas properties.
Champlin
received a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M
University in 1999 and went on to receive a M.B.A. with emphases in
finance and corporate strategy from Southern Methodist University in
2005. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and current
Membership Chairman for the 2009-2010 term.

David Creach: David is a 1980
graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, BBA in Management.
He has been a SPE member for over 20 years. He served on the
Houston Golf Committee while working in Houston. He is currently
Sales & Service Representative for STS (Specialty Rental Tools & Supply,
Inc.) in Dallas. David is the 2009-2010 Dallas section Secretary.

Brian Chacka
,
Brian is an operations engineer for Denbury Resources, Inc based in
Plano, TX. He is a chemical engineering graduate from the University of
Minnesota and has been active in the upstream petroleum industry since
1999 working in areas ranging from Deepwater Gulf of Mexico to Prudhoe
Bay, Alaska. He has been the Sports & Social Director as well as the
Young Professionals Chair within the Dallas chapter. He is the
2009-2010 Chairman Elect and past Program Chairman (2008-2009).

PJ Edsall, is an Operations engineer for Encana. He is the past

Steve Grape:
Since 1995, Steven G. Grape has worked as a petroleum engineer
for EIA in Dallas, TX as the lead author of the U.S. Crude Oil, Natural
Gas, and Natural Gas Liquids Reserves Annual Report series. Other
responsibilities at EIA include reserves survey data quality assurance,
statistical modeling of reserves-to-production ratios and finding rates,
and information technology support. He holds BS and MS degrees in
petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University. Mr.
Grape previously worked in Washington D.C. for the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, Department of Engineering and Environmental
Review, reviewing natural gas storage fields, pipelines, and compression
facilities for Federal certification. He is the 2008-2009 Past Chairman of
the Dallas Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He was 2002
President of the Petroleum Engineers Club of Dallas, and the 2000 SPE
Young Engineer of the Year.

Hamid - Works for Halliburton. He is the current Education
Chairman.

Richard
Lemon is currently serving as Director-Sports and Social for the
Dallas Section. He is also serving again this year as Chairman of
the SPE-Dallas Casino Night Committee. Richard joined Ram Energy
as Operations Engineer with the 2007 merger of Ascent Energy into Ram.
He is a graduate of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Texas.

Deborah Hempel-Medina: Deborah has been employed with IHS and its predecessor
companies including PI/Dwights for over 9 years and is currently in an
Account Executive role covering the North Texas, North Louisiana and
Northeastern US regions. Previous employers have included Union Pacific
Resources, Anadarko Petroleum and Gemini Exploration. An SPE member
since 1988, she holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from The
University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist
University in Dallas. Deborah will hold the role of
Director at Large for the
2009-2010 term.
Deborah is also active in other industry organizations including the
Petroleum Engineer’s Club of Dallas and the Texas Energy Council. She
also enjoys visiting schools to spread knowledge about our industry,
careers and safety to local students

S. Hamilton:
Employed as an Exploitation Engineer by Nexen Petroleum since year 2000.
Previous employers were Cox Resources Corp., Santa Fe Minerals and Global
Marine Drilling Co. Graduated from Texas A&M University in 1983 with B. S.
degree in Petroleum Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer in
Texas, Louisiana and California. Member of SPE since 1979.
David is the current Chaiman for the
2009-2010 term.

Phin
Holmes: Phin joined
Baker Petrolite in 1980 and is currently a National Account Executive for
the Western Hemisphere. Prior to moving to Dallas, Phin has worked in the
Gulf Coast Region, Houston, College Station and in the Permian Basin. Phin
holds a degree from Texas Tech University and has worked on his masters at
both Texas Tech and Sol Ross Universities. Currently Phin has served as the
"Community Relations" Director for the Dallas Section working with the SPE
Educational Committee, Community Service Committee, and Dallas Youth
Services Corp (DYSC). Through DYSC, the SPE Community Service Committee
has committed to work with "At Risk" students to get them interested in
the oil and gas industry. Phin currently is the keeper of the "Magic

Middaugh: Rick works for Halliburton and is the 2009-2010
section Community Relations Director.

Sara
Miller
is a petroleum engineer specializing in the energy
industry for KE Andrews and Company. Her expertise and area of
responsibility covers the valuation of significant assets in the
Barnett Shale using reserve estimation, as well as economic and
decline curve analysis. Prior to joining KE Andrews in 2008, she
was a production engineer for Aera Energy in
the Ventura, California field office and participated in the Central
Coast section of SPE. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University
with a BS in Petroleum Engineering where she was an active member of
SPE, holding office and participating in various committees.
Brad
Robinson
joined Matador Resources Company in August 2003 as one of its founders
and serves as the company’s Vice President of Engineering. Prior to
joining Matador, Mr. Robinson held the position of Advisor with
Schlumberger Data & Consulting Services, where he was responsible for
the development and application of new technologies related to well
completions and stimulation. Mr. Robinson worked with Schlumberger for
six years following its acquisition of S. A. Holditch & Associates, Inc.
in 1997. Mr. Robinson joined Holditch, when the consulting firm was
formed in 1979. As a Senior Petroleum Engineer, he was responsible for
the evaluation, completion and stimulation of unconventional natural gas
reservoirs. Mr. Robinson served as the Vice President - Production
Engineering where he was responsible for production and completion
engineering projects, including the Gas Research Institute’s Tight Gas
Sands and Horizontal Gas Well research projects. In addition to working
in most areas of the U.S. during his career, he has worked throughout
the world including Canada, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Egypt,
North Sea, Russia, and Indonesia. Mr. Robinson began his career in 1977
with Marathon Oil Company, serving as an Associate Production Engineer
and later as a Reservoir Engineer in Midland. Mr. Robinson received
Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Petroleum Engineering from
Texas A&M University in 1977 and 1986, respectively. He has authored or
co-authored over thirty technical articles, eighteen of which have
appeared in industry and/or technical publications. Mr. Robinson is a
member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and is a Registered
Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Brad is a Director at Large
for the Dallas Section and Chaired the 2009 Haynesville Gas Shale
Symposium.
Peggy
Tibbetts: Peggy Tibbetts is a
Partner and Manager of Technical Services with LaRoche Petroleum
Consultants, Ltd. and has worked for consulting companies and
independent producers for 30 years in engineering, accounting, and
reserves management. Peggy is Past Chairman
of the section and General Chairman for the 2005 HEES. Peggy is a past
President of the Desk & Derrick Club of Dallas and has received the
international organization's highest Award of Excellence. Peggy is also
a representative for the North Texas Energy Council.
