Dan Auces - 1977 graduate of Rice University
with a BS in chemical engineering. He began his oilfield career at the
age of 19, working for Exxon Company USA in 1974 as a summer engineer.
After varied assignments a plant and project engineer, Dan left Exxon in
late 1979 to work for the Canadian owned Texas based Home Petroleum
Corporation designing and constructing underground storage facilities
for LPG. He had a very short stint as a consultant working for Strong
Engineering Corporation. In 1980 he began his three year career working
for the Cal Gas Corporation and its sister Dillingham Energy Resources
as process and economics evaluation engineer. Then in 1983 he began his
25 year career working for the Hunt Family of companies including
Rosewood Resources Inc. and Hunt Petroleum Corporation. Dan retired
from Hunt in 2008. Dan had another short stint with yet another
Canadian owned and Texas based company, Nexen Petroleum USA, as an
acquisitions engineer. In May 2010, Dan began what he hopes to be his
best and final career choice working for Denbury Resources, Inc. as
Senior Reservoir Reserves Engineer. Dan has been an SPE member for more
than 25 years (since 1984). He has served on the Dallas SPE golf
committee for 10 years. But he is best known for having served as the
Dallas SPE Section scholarship chairman since 1998.

Danny Bell:
Danny is the Operations Engineering Manager for Exco Resources Inc. A Petroleum
Engineering Graduate from the University of Oklahoma and a Registered
Professional Engineer. He has held section offices of Director,
Section Chairman, Program Chairman and Treasurer in several sections
(Michigan, Abilene, OKC and Dallas). Bell has also
served on the EH&S, Membership and Paper Review committees at the
National/International level and served on numerous section committees. He is
currently the Technology Transfer Officer, Webmaster and a Past Chairman
(2007-2008) for the Dallas
section and serves on the SPEI National Membership Committee. Recipient
of the 2009 SPEI Distinguished Service Award and 2009 Distinguished

Herb
Bell:
Herb Bell is Vice President of Operations with Trek Resources, Inc in
Dallas. Prior to this he was Production Manager for Aethon I LP,
Independent Petroleum Consultant and Manager of Engineering &
Exploitation with Edisto Resources Corporation. He received a BSME
degree from UTEP and is a registered professional engineer in Texas.
Active in SPE since 1966, he held all local section offices as a member
of the West Central Texas Section and was instrumental in founding their
scholarship program. He has also served on various SPE International
committees, including Chairman of the Membership Committee. He is
currently serving the Dallas Section as Director at Large and
Advertising & Sales Manager for the website. He has been a member of the
Century Club since1984 and recruited over 2700 members for the Society.

Dustin
Bozarth is a Region Sales Engineer for Team Oil Tools. His
expertise and responsibilities are in completion equipment focusing on
packer, plugs, and frac sleeves. Dustin previously worked for Expro
where he spent several years in the field running completion tools and 2
years as an Account Manager in the DFW metropolis. Dustin graduated
from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2003.

Larry Champlin: Vice President in
the North America Division with DeGolyer and MacNaughton specializes in
reservoir engineering and appraisal of oil and gas properties.
Champlin
received a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M
University in 1999 and went on to receive a M.B.A. with emphases in
finance and corporate strategy from Southern Methodist University in
2005. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and current
Treasurer for the 2010-2012 (two year) term.

David Creach: David is a 1980
graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, BBA in Management.
He has been a SPE member for over 20 years. He served on the
Houston Golf Committee while working in Houston. He is currently
Sales & Service Representative for STS (Specialty Rental Tools & Supply,
Inc.) in Dallas. David is the 2010-2011 Dallas Sports and Social
Director.

Brian Chacka
,
Brian
is an operations engineer for Denbury Resources, Inc based in Plano, TX.
Prior to serving as the Dallas Section Chairman, he was the Program
Chair, Sports & Social Director, and Young Professionals Chair. He was
the section’s Young Engineer of the Year in 2008 and was named the 2010
Mid-Continent Regional Outstanding Young Member for his dedicated
service to SPE. He is a chemical engineering graduate from the
University of Minnesota.

Joe
Mueller, Membership Chairman 2010-2011. BS Chemical Engineer,
University of Houston. Began engineering career in the Gulf
Coast chemicals processing industry and transitioned into various
sales and sales management positions in chemicals, petrochemical and
specialty products markets with Conoco/DuPont. Moved into upstream
oil and gas marketing when joining the Enventure Global Technology
expandable casing group. Currently a Corporate Business Development
person for Cudd Energy Services marketing hydraulic fracturing,
coiled tubing, snubbing and directional drilling services.

Richard
Lemon is the 2010-2011 Program Chair. From 2008-2010 he was the
Director of Sports and Social for the Dallas Section and served three
years as Chair of the SPE-Dallas Casino Night Committee. Richard joined
RAM Energy as Operations Engineer with the 2007 merger of Ascent Energy
into RAM. He is a graduate of Petroleum Engineering at the University
of Texas.

Deborah Hempel-Medina:
Deborah
works for Williams as the Community and Safety Outreach representative
for their Barnett Shale operations. Prior to Williams, she was employed
with IHS and its predecessor companies including PI/Dwights for over 10
years. Other previous employers have included Union Pacific Resources,
Anadarko Petroleum and Gemini Exploration. An SPE member since 1988,
she holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas
at Austin and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Deborah held the role of Secretary last year. She has previously been a
Director at Large and returns to that position for the 2011-2012 term.

S. Hamilton:
Employed as an Exploitation Engineer by Nexen Petroleum since year 2000.
Previous employers were Cox Resources Corp., Santa Fe Minerals and Global
Marine Drilling Co. Graduated from Texas A&M University in 1983 with B. S.
degree in Petroleum Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer in
Texas, Louisiana and California. Member of SPE since 1979.
David was the Chaiman for the
2009-2010 term.

Sara
Miller
is a petroleum engineer specializing in the energy industry for KE
Andrews and Company. Her expertise and area of responsibility
covers the valuation of significant assets in the Barnett and
Haynesville Shale plays using reserve estimation, as well as
economic and decline curve analysis. Sara served as Young
Professionals chairman for the past three years and will serve as
Director-At-Large this year and be responsible for coordinating SPE
Dallas Symposia with the Education Committee. She is a graduate of
Texas Tech University with a BS in Petroleum Engineering.

Terry
Palisch
is currently the Director of Petroleum Engineering with CARBO Ceramics.
Prior to his 7 years with CARBO, he was employed by ARCO for 15 years as
a production, completions and reservoir engineer. He graduated with a
BS in PE from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He has been an SPE
member for 29 years, and is currently the Program Chairman with the SPE
Dallas Section. He has served or is currently serving as a member of
the ATCE Well Stimulation and ATCE Completions Committees, the Drilling
& Completions Award and Completions Optimization Technology Award
Committees and a Technical Editor. He has authored numerous SPE
Technical papers, and given many presentations at SPE conferences,
lunches, ATWs, etc.

Brad
Robinson
Brad Robinson joined Matador Resources Company in August
2003 as one of its founders and serves as the company’s Vice President -
Reservoir Engineering. Prior to joining Matador, Brad held the position
of Advisor with Schlumberger Data & Consulting Services. He worked with
Schlumberger for six years following its acquisition of S. A. Holditch &
Associates, Inc. in 1997. Brad joined Holditch as a Senior Petroleum
Engineer when the consulting firm was formed in 1979, then later served
as the Vice President - Production Engineering. He began his career in
1977 with Marathon Oil Company, serving as an Associate Production
Engineer and later as a Reservoir Engineer in Midland. Brad received
Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Petroleum Engineering from
Texas A&M University in 1977 and 1986, respectively. He is a Registered
Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, a member of SPE and is
serving as the 2011 - 2012 Chairman of the Dallas Section of SPE.

Peggy
Tibbetts:
Peggy Tibbetts is a Partner and Manager
of Technical Services with LaRoche Petroleum Consultants, Ltd. and has
worked for consulting companies and independent producers for 35 years
in engineering, accounting, and reserves management. Peggy is
Past Chairman of the Dallas SPE section, General Chairman for the 2005
HEES, and Regional Service Award recipient. Peggy is the current
President of the Texas Energy Council and Communication Chair for the
Women’s Energy Network. Peggy is a past President of the Desk & Derrick
Club of Dallas and received the international organization's highest
Award of Excellence.

Michael
Tunstall: Employed as North America Region Manager for Halliburton
swellable packers with 29 years of service to the energy industry.
Currently serving as the Education Chair for the Dallas section
supporting the Study Group and the fall and Spring Symposiums. Michael
is currently the Two Year Section chair for the SPE Denver Section
having been section chair in 2009-2010. He also is on the Fort Worth SPE
Section Golf Scholarship committee and serves on the SPEI membership
committee in the second year of a 3 year term.
